Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NudgeCV, a web service operated by Allan Ninal, a sole-proprietor business registered in the Philippines (BIR-registered). By signing up for or using NudgeCV, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What we provide

NudgeCV is an AI-assisted resume + LinkedIn optimization tool. We help you draft, polish, and export resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profile copy. We run AI suggestions through Claude Haiku 4.5 on AWS Bedrock; we describe how this works in our AI Disclosure.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. NudgeCV optimizes LinkedIn profiles, and LinkedIn itself requires users to be at least 16. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

We do not serve users located in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, China, Myanmar, South Korea, Turkey, India, or the Canadian province of Quebec. If you sign up from one of these regions, your account may be terminated without refund.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@nudgecv.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Pricing and billing

  • Free tier — 1 resume, 2 AI optimizations per month, full export.
  • Pro Monthly — $4.99 USD per month, recurring until cancelled.
  • Pro Annual — $39.00 USD per year, recurring until cancelled.
  • Quick Optimize — $2.99 USD one-time, no account required, 24-hour result link.

All payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your card or bank details. Prices are in US dollars; PayPal will convert from your local currency.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from your billing page — it's a single button, no phone calls, no email loops, no retention dark patterns. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. We do not charge a final "clean-up" period after you cancel.

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Pro Monthly and Pro Annual purchases. See our Refund Policy for how to claim a refund.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of every resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content only to deliver the service to you — generate AI suggestions, render exports, display previews. We don't use Your Content to train models, sell it, or share it with third parties beyond what's described in the Privacy Policy.

You promise that Your Content is your own work or that you have permission to use it, and that it doesn't violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, or contain malicious code.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit anyone else's resume or impersonate another person.
  • Use NudgeCV to fabricate credentials, qualifications, or employment history.
  • Scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what its public APIs allow.
  • Send spam, malware, or attempt to break into our infrastructure or other users' accounts.
  • Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Repeated violations may forfeit access without refund.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on NudgeCV infringes your copyright, email hello@nudgecv.com with: a description of the work, a link or description of the allegedly-infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that you are the rightsholder or authorised to act on their behalf. We will review and, where the claim appears valid, remove the content and notify the user responsible. We are a sole-proprietor business and do not maintain a registered DMCA designated agent; we take copyright complaints seriously regardless and aim to respond within 5 business days.

10. AI suggestions

NudgeCV generates AI suggestions that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before using it in an application, profile, or other public-facing context. We are not liable for outcomes that result from your use of AI-generated text. See AI Disclosure for details.

11. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't promise uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, update features, or temporarily restrict access without notice. If a long outage prevents you from using a paid feature, contact us and we'll prorate or refund on a case-by-case basis.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee you'll get a job, an interview, or any specific outcome.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to NudgeCV is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

14. Termination

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@nudgecv.com from the email address on your account. We will delete your account and content within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep records (e.g. tax invoices). We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Quezon City, Philippines. You and we both waive any right to a jury trial.
